Problem: High Level of TDS, Chloride, Iron, Manganese.
Solution: Oxidization, MMF, UF, RO, Disinfection.
Background:
The Clients requirement was to use existing bore water as wash down, process and heat exchange water.
PWS designed and installed a packaged system to comply with the client’s requirements.
The Challenge:
To design, manufacture and install a 75T/Hr UF Membrane system, 50T/Hr RO system, including oxidisation for Iron and Manganese removal.
The Solution:
PWS designed, manufactured, installed and commissioned the water treatment plant.
Water is pumped from existing bores to a holding tank while dosing chlorine for oxidisation.
After sufficient contact time water is then pumped through the Multi-Media Filters, 10-micron bag filters and then the Ultra-Filtration system. UF Product water is then stored for use for wash down and process water.
The UF product water is also used as the feed water to the RO plant. The RO permeate is then stored in holding tanks to be used with heat exchangers to prevent scaling and corrosion.
The Results:
The water treatment plant delivers filtered water that meets or exceeds the customers requirements.
